Coaching
From idea and prep to launch and grow, I will give you the action plans and advice you need to stay on track and build a successful business.
I’m the one you call when:
You have an idea but aren’t sure where to start
You want to move from “working for the man” to working for yourself
You are currently an entrepreneur but need help to stay on track
You need guidance on your brand, marketing, and sales strategies
You are stuck in your current business and can’t seem to hit your revenue goals
You’ve no doubt heard of coaching. You may have rolled your eyes at it (I know I did at first) but here’s the secret: it is the single most important tool I recommend to entrepreneurs.
I’ve been a mentor to startups, an advisor to businesses, and a leader at organizations, working with both new brands and Fortune 500 companies. I’ve mostly stayed in the consulting lane when I realized my favorite part of what I do is speaking with the founders personally and offering action plans, advice, and connections to help them build their best business. I loved speaking at events and finding easier ways to help founders with hard to pin down strategy issues. Most of all, I loved helping women and the LGBTQIA community.
I’ve worked and spoken with coaches across the spectrum of specialties, whether they come from therapy and social behavior backgrounds or corporate backgrounds. One thing I learned is there’s the right coach for each person.
And every entrepreneur and founder should have a coach.
Like a therapist or personal trainer, a coach is a very personal choice. And you may not find the right one right away. You want your coach to vibe with you and push you in the way that works best.
So why would you choose me? I am specifically geared to women and the LGBTQIA community and I blend my “No-BS” approach as a successful entrepreneur and business leader with a touch of “woo".
I’ll give you actionable advice and roadmaps while recommending CBT and manifestation techniques that will keep you positive and focused on your goals. I take a solutions-oriented, performance-based approach; not just listening and handing out platitudes about working harder. (Here’s the part where I mention that I am NOT a therapist. I do not have that training but I do take some of what I learned from my own hard-fought lessons).
TL;DR. If you are a founder (or planning to be one), you need a coach.
The right coach is a personal choice.
I focus on women and LGBTQIA founders.
I might be the right choice or I might not…but you should reach out and see!

Hi! I’m Faye
If you haven’t noticed, I take a no-BS (yet fun!) approach,
because I believe in moving quickly and being scrappy while still maintaining the necessary details when it comes to branding, marketing, and sales. This may not be the approach for big corporations with lots of money to spend testing, hiring, running surveys and studies, but for those new and emerging brands, I believe it’s the way to success or “move fast, break things” as Zuckerberg said…less on breaking but more on being ok with a few fumbles as you build quickly.
Why listen to me? For 20+ years, I’ve launched my own startups, ran an LA-based marketing agency for Fortune 500 brands, advised SMBs on how to best stretch their marketing budget, and helped over a dozen other entrepreneurs launch their businesses as a consultant or mentor. I’ve been there and I’m scrappy, helping new brands bootstrap and established businesses be stretch their marketing dollars.
Project No. 9 was created to reach more founders with the strategies that got my and my clients’ brands into big-name stores like Dillards and Free People, big venues like Dodger’s Stadium and TAO Group, and big publications like NY Times, Food & Wine, and more.
Our mission is to help entrepreneurs strategically launch or market their businesses with consulting, courses, and a community that are cost-efficient and flexible, using ever-evolving expertise and real-world experience to guide founders and help nurture their startup or small business growth.
Let’s turn your passion project into a successful business!
