Team Leadership
Recruitment and management of agencies, freelancers, and team members
Ciao Andiamo, a highly-regarded bespoke Italian travel company was at an inflection point: they needed marketing leadership but weren’t ready for a full-time hire. Their sales were good, steady, and they had a channel that was predictably producing leads, but they simply weren’t scaling like they’d like. Acting a a fractional CMO, Faye first audited the messaging and channels and discovered a typical issue in growing organizations that need a little love. One was making sure each channel was optimized, mainly that email was reaching it’s target when it mattered most. This meant proper segmentation and scheduling of content and execution. Another was ensuring there was no silo between marketing and sales and testing new performance channels across each step to see where leads might drop off.
Ciao Andiamo also wanted to expand into group travel. This included assessing the audience differences from their core market and determining new messaging that spoke to the their desires. We also addressed loyalty, testing a membership program as well as building out a e-commerce side, providing unique seasonal merch.
Finally, after around 16 months, it was time to help source and onboard their first full-time marketing hire at the manager level, located in Italy. We guided them on what to look for to ensure the transition was smooth as they moved forward in their growing business.

SEM/Google AdWords/G4
Drayhorse, initially a beverage formulation, canning, and copaking facility based in Philadelphia wasn’t sure exactly what it was going to be when the founders went in different directions. focused initially on formulatioon, we generated leads via SEM/Google AdWords to fill the pipeline with potential deals.
As Drayhorse transitionined away from formulation and into just canning/copacking, we stepped in and built out a new CRM and sales processes, as well as attended events and traveled onsite to meet with partners and potential clients. On the marketing side, we created SEO-optimized content, worked with PR, and even liaised with artists to created a mural that presented our brand, gave a nod to state history, and beautified a struggling area of the city.
As we began to close deals, we developed a client onboarding system and portal which not only impressed new clients but also organized all the necessary documents needed to process with the TTB, packaging designers, and scheduling with production.
Creating a full-funnel sales system with documented SOPs and automated software, we helped Drayhorse to not only be setup for future success, but we also closed inital deals to bring revenue immediately to the organization upon opening.
CPG - Beauty
Cloud Skincare
An innovative line of skincare for women on the go
Brand Positioning, Messaging, & Packaging
Marketing Strategy
Brand & Sales Collateral
Sales Planning, Team Management, & SOPs
PR, influencers, and partnerships
Cloud Skincare was created by our founder, Faye Postma, in her Pasadena, CA kitchen in January of 2019 and by the end of that first year, its flagship product had placements in Saks, Dillard’s Free People, and Urban Outfitters.
She created the full brand: logo, colors, and packaging and garnered press in The Zoe Report, Beauty Independent and other outlets, while building partnerships with Schutz shoes, W Hotels, and other venues/brands. Leveraging a small roster of experienced commission-based beauty sales reps, Faye expanded Cloud to boutiques and stores across the nation.
And then the pandemic started: all the stores closed, the events were canceled, and women no longer needed the “first quick-dry roll-on that relieves foot pain when wearing high heels.” While the brand shuttered by the end of 2020, we couldn’t be more proud of what was accomplished in that first year.
